Will the person/people have a responsibility to evacuate staff in the event of hearing the alarm or discovering a fire?
- If the answer is yes you need a Fire Marshal training course
- If the answer is no you need a Fire Awareness training course
Has the person/people already attended a full 4 hour Fire Marshal course?
- If the answer is yes you need attend the 2.5 hours Fire Marshal Refresher training course, which should be completed every 2 years.
- If the answer is no you need to attend the comprehensive 4 hour Fire Marshal training course.
Does your business have suitable premises to hold a fire training course?
- If the answer is yes we can deliver a course for up to 15 people at your workplace.
- If the answer is no you can attend one of our regularly scheduled Open Fire Marshal training courses delivered at Sandford-on-Thames Village Hall, Henley Road, Oxford, OX4 4YN.
If you require staff to have a knowledge of of how to prevent fires and what to do in the event of a fire (Fire Awareness training) will they be required to use a fire extinguisher?
- If yes staff should attend the Fire Awareness with Extinguisher Practical training course which is delivered at your workplace for up to 30 people.
- If no staff should attend a Fire Awareness Talk which is delivered at your workplace or remotely for an unlimited number of delegates.
