Who We Are
Spotting a gap in the market for friendly but professional fire safety training, Johanna Swanton, previously a Commercial Training Manager at Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, set up Swan Fire in 2007. She was joined two years later by Bob Swanton who used his experience as a Senior Fire Officer to add fire risk assessments to the business’s portfolio.
Over time we expanded both our team and services and now have a team of nine providing fire risk assessments and safety training across central and southern England. In 2015 we joined forces with Peopletime Ltd to offer a wider range of training courses, branching out into health and safety audits and first aid training. But with each new addition we’ve kept to our core values of offering great quality training at affordable prices.
We work with all kinds of businesses, from big multinationals such as Mercedes, Airbus, IKEA and Miele, to regional organisations including Thames Valley Police, Oxford County Council and Oxford University, as well as many schools and colleges, charities and a wide range of smaller companies.
We are proud of the positive feedback that we consistently receive and the fact that so many organisations return to us to provide their training and risk assessment needs year after year.
